The Romans left their mark on the town, with the Arco de Bara, or Arc de Triomphe. Located on the old Via Augusta, it is a remarkable monument, with a great presence. There are many other cultural attractions in the city and the surrounding region. It is an excellent destination to explore the Catalan culture and the history of Tarragona.

Gastronomy
The coastal province of Tarragona is committed to seafood in its gastronomy. A specialty used alongside many local dishes is Romesco Sauce, made with olive oil, hazelnuts, almonds, sweet peppers, onions, garlic, and tomatoes. It is mainly served with fish, but it is also delicious with meat dishes.
Climate
Roda de Bara enjoys warm flower-filled springs, long hot summers, sunny golden autumns and mild winters with some rain.
